Leavenworth Washington

We are a retired couple living in an amazing area in Washington state. We have two acres of land with a small creek running through the back portion. We love the recreational opportunities in and around Leavenworth, including skiing, hiking, and birdwatching. We also enjoy gardening.

Our home is a single level 3 bedroom with just a few steps to access both front and back. We are about four miles from the town of Leavenworth. Leavenworth is a Bavarian-themed tourist destination, visited by tourists from near and far. There is a large grocery store there, as well as many restaurants, wine and cider tasting, and shopping.

Our property draws birds year round, with its plentiful vegetation, water sources, and feeders. Bring your binoculars! You may also see wildlife in the yard. There is plenty of hiking in the nearby mountains, biking on country roads, water sports on lakes and rivers - just about any outdoor activity is available!

We have one pet to care for, 9 year old Bailee, a golden retriever. She loves anyone who'll feed her! She requires some medication each day. We also need to have houseplants watered, lawn mowed, and some additional outdoor watering.
