Looking for a mature couple or single person to sit for our cat Baby.
Picking up mail, feeding cat and watering a couple plants are the responsibilities. And this is September so you might get some fresh tomatoes off the vine.
Our house is in a quiet suburban neighborhood approximately 10 minutes drive from midtown Sacramento. River activities, historical sites, sports arena and variety of restaurants, theaters and shops in nearby Midtown.
Wifi internet access throughout house and yard. Netflix, Apple+ and DirecTV included ;^)
If you want to explore, both San Francisco and Lake Tahoe are each 2 hours away (in opposite directions LoL) You will need a car unless you don't mind a few blocks walk to the bus line..
Thoroughly enjoyed housesitting for Teresa and Larry in their comfortable home. Baby is a sweet, easy-to-care for cat. Handy location to downtown Sacramento. Walking or short driving distance to shops, library, restaurants and malls. Would definitely do a repeat if the occasion arises. Their sunroom and backyard is a plus with flowers and fruit trees. Highly recommend this housesit.
We enjoyed caring for Baby,a very sweet black cat with gold eyes. The house was very comfortable and in a great location. Close to Discovery Park and the American River Trail for hiking and biking. We enjoyed going to Old Sacramento by the river. Lake Tahoe made a great day trip as well as driving for the day up into the Sierra Nevadas. Also there's a donut shop in walking distance of the house
You can keep it close to home, or you can use house sitting as a way to travel on a shoestring. It's all good, and it starts here.
