We are looking for an apartment/ pet-sitter for about a month while we are away for our wedding and honeymoon. We live in Chicago (South Loop) close to the lakefront, Museum Campus/ Soldier Field, Chinatown, and downtown. Our apartment is in a high-rise building with elevator access, 1 bedroom + office and 1 bathroom, and in-unit laundry. Free parking is unfortunately not available, but many public transit options are accessible close to the apartment.
We have 1 cat, Rue. She is a very sweet, cuddly, and sociable 3-year-old., and she's VERY gentle and easy-going. We're looking for someone who would be available to provide the socialization that Rue needs while caring for her food, water, and litter. We also have many house plants that would need watering 1x/week.
This opportunity would be great for someone looking to explore Chicago and who loves a good cat cuddle. We are looking for someone who is non-smoking, clean, responsible, communicative, and without their own pets.
