Two sweet, interactive, indoor/outdoor kitties need an attentive, caring female sitter or couple to hang out with them while we are away. There will also be a need to water some plants inside and outside. We live in an updated one-story condo in a quiet community just 5 minutes drive from downtown Athens, GA which is a vibrant college town- full of great music, good food and lots of intellectual/cultural entertainment. So, our home is perfect for a cat lover who would enjoy a comfortable change of scenery with lots of options for entertainment and some fun outdoor recreation with lots of hiking trails to explore. Additionally, the condo complex has a tennis court with pickle ball courts available. The bus line is just a 5 minute walk and within a 10 minute walk you can be in a shopping area with grocery stores, coffee shop, restaurants, banks and a pharmacy.
We believe that information is power so we provide a detailed "instruction manual" and training to set our sitters up to feel confident and comfortable during the stay. We have found great sitters on this site for the past 7 years, appreciating good communication before, during and after and very good care for our kitties and our home.
We feel most comfortable being able to have a video chat for us to interview you and you to interview us with the bonus that you can get a tour of our home and meet our kitties. We have found it most helpful to have an in-person training the day before we leave and have built that into the dates listed here.
We have been very COVID conscious obtaining all boosters.
It’s a beautiful home with a lovely garden very close to all things athens. The cats are sweethearts and the hosts were very communicative, with a care binder and return phone calls. I had a great experience.
2nd house sit for Jennifer and Cindy and the precious kittens Tiger and Grizzy. I cannot give enough stars to describe how truly kind, thoughtful, organized and communicative these home owners are. Sitting for J and C is like arriving to visit dear friends and then having the priveledge to stay in their lovely spotless home with minimal kitten and household responsibilities. I've been pet-sitting full-time for over 4 years. I've spent more time with Tiger & Grizzy than anyone else, 337 days with them! They are by far my favorites.
Jennifer & Cindy have great documentation, clear expectations & are just a pleasure to work with. They have a lovely condo, a great community pool for summers in Athens & a really nice group of neighbors that I have gotten to know.

Jennifer and Cindy are perfect hosts. We arrived to their usual warm welcome and a wonderful meal. Wayne asked Cindy to leave the leftovers! Tiger and Grizzy greeted us warmly and seemed happy to have us back. Another great sitting experience and plans made to return in the fall.
We were happy to see that Jennifer and Cindy needed an encore sit this spring. We enjoyed our time in their home and loved their cats last year so why not “apply” again? As usual everything was in order, instructions clear and all family members very accommodating (cats included)! House sitting for Jennifer and Cindy was top notch. Their home is spacious and inviting, impeccably well organized with a chef's kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and heated floor in the primary bath. It is situated in a great city with lots of free stuff to do, walkable to grocery, restaurants and shopping, with friendly neighbors willing to assist if ever needed. Sitting for Jennifer and Cindy was great! They were so thoughtful about what our needs might be during the sit. The kitten sittin bible provided detailed info on caring for the kittens and operation of the home as well as things to see and do in the area. Five stars all around! We thoroughly enjoyed our time taking care of the 13 year old kitten siblings as well as relaxing in Jennifer and Cindy's gorgeous home. They are so organized, efficient and thoughtful...how many hosts take you on a customized city/campus tour, provide you with a "bible" covering every aspect of your "sitting time", and prepare you a gourmet meal? This was my third extended sit with Tiger & Grizzy. I really like working with Jennifer & Cindy. House is great, cats are fun & they are superb with communication & just very caring people. I'm also really enjoying the Athens community. I look forward to a couple of sits with the kittens in 2022.

I really enjoyed kitten sitten for Grizzy and Tiger. Jennifer gave me a full introduction to the house, the cats and the area. She was great with communication and expectations. They are in an area that's close the downtown Athens, great location that felt shafe with very nice neighbors. I'd welcome the opportunity to sit for them again.
