We are searching for sitters to watch our lovely 4 bedroom 3.5 bath home in Rose Hill neighborhood of Alexandria, complete with a very sweet 6 yr old Doberman named Lola. We will be out of town for a week on a cruise and we're looking for someone to care for our home and pup while we are away. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, and all modern conveniences are in the home. Lola is big but easy to care for and home has low maintenance involved (watering plants, collecting mail, etc.). Home is 10-15min from Old Town and 1.8mi from nearest metro station (Huntington). Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.
We will be leaving town around noon on the 15th and returning the evening of the 22nd.
I enjoyed my time in Alexandria taking care of sweet Lola! She has such a great personality. Chris and Susan were also great to communicate with; I would recommend this experience to anyone.
Communication was great. It made the initial arrival and sit great. Chris and Susan's home was so inviting. I loved the kitchen!
Of course there is Lola. Lola is such a loving girl. Her bark is intimidating but those ears and her eyes tell her true self. She is so smart! She is so well behaved inside and while on walks/outside. She did great on our little travels during the day. She loves squirrels!

Loved my stay at Chris & Susan’s. The house is warm and cozy, with everything you might need including your own guest bed & bath. The true highlight of my stay was Lola Grace & Walter James! They were the best companions and such great doggos! Chris left a house sit guide which left me with everything I needed to know. A great house sit for a great family!
Susan & Chris have two cute, crazy sweet larger dogs named Walter and Lola. Offering kisses, head bumps, and lots of entertainment, I enjoyed them so much.
The family has a beautifully-decorated, extremely organized home in a cozy, comfortable environment.
Susan, with whom I was mostly in touch, offered great written instructions related to absolutely everything home & dog-related. She was communicative, kind and appreciative. I'd sit for this family again anytime.
Susan and Chris are genuinely kind people who have a lovely family, a beautiful home, and the sweetest dogs! They made me feel truly welcome and comfortable before, during, and after their trip. We even had a nice dinner together when they got back! They left a detailed welcome packet for me that was very helpful, with specific instructions on how to care for the house and their fur babies. Wally and Lola were so much fun to housesit with. Wally's such a teddy bear and loves to cuddle. Lola is gorgeous and so exciting. Both dogs are trained and obedient. I was given detailed instructions and recommendations for things to do around town. It was fun, enjoyable and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Wally (dog) & Mila (cat) are great, loveable pets that we enjoyed our time with!
Susan & Chris have a lovely comfortable home in a wonderful location in Pensacola. Our sit was for 2 weeks including Christmas and their home was decorated nicely for us to enjoy the holiday. They provided us with a very detailed list covering everything necessary for us to care for their home & pets as well as amazing recommendations of local shopping, restaurants & areas of interest for us to enjoy.
Bob and I loved our house and pet sit at Susan and Chris's. This was our first long distance house/pet sit and the entire process was really easy; Chris and Susan were friendly and organized. Chris left us with a welcome packet that had any information that we might need while we were there; as well as a thoughtful page on neat attractions and great restaurants around the area.
