Early Spring in New England... (March dates are approximate; I would like to wait to buy tickets until we have an understanding).
I live in the top two floors of my two-family house with a lovely tenant on the first floor. I need care for Trillium, my one very sociable and affectionate cat and a goodly number of quiet houseplants. Trillium is in excellent health and demanding only of attention (and food).
NOTE: I have added that animals are welcome, but unfortunately not another cat. Trillium doesn't seem to care at all about dogs. There is a hook on the pantry door that allows her in and out to her food and litter box but does not permit the average dog to enter.
There are a couple of adult bicycles available for tooling around if desired: one for a tall person (6'+) and the other for an average (5'7-ish) person.
This is a lovely area, 15 minutes away from Salisbury Beach and a bit longer to Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, with ten miles+ of almost deserted beaches (due to limited parking). New Hampshire beaches are also within half an hour. Newburyport (next town, 5 miles away) is charming, and it's lovely to walk along the Merrimack River. Newburyport has an excellent independent bookstore and a great independent cinema. There are many trails and walks in this fairly rural area (for the coast, that is), and proximity of an hour's drive to either Boston and Portland ME for more city-like attractions is a plus (Portsmouth NH is ½ hour). The commuter train to Boston from Newburyport is easy.
There is good reliable internet in the house, as well as most mod cons (DW, washer&dryer, toaster oven, microwave, Google Home). There is no cable; I have a Netflix and Max subscriptions that I will share for streaming. There is a 42-inch old, non-bluetooth TV that can be used with adapter cords for streaming with your laptop.
This is a recently renovated but still showing-her-age 1895 house. I've loaded photos only of the principle rooms. There are two guest rooms on the third floor (take your pick) and a now completed ¾ bath between them (photo to come). There is also a separate room on second serving as an office, but it is not photo-ready. The building seen from one of the windows in the guest room is the garage, a former barn. Happy to send more images of second guest room if desired - at the moment it's filled with attic things from the bathroom addition.
Use of my (small-battery) EV is possible for local trips. I'll give you everything you need to figure it out if you aren't familiar with EVs.
