Our house is in a lovely neighborhood in Seattle, WA, a short walk to Tangletown, Greenlake, Wallingford, and the University of WA. Our neighborhood is great for walking, biking, and boating at Greenlake (seasonal). We have a three bedroom, though currently reduced to two bedrooms, tv, wi-fi, and an outdoor sauna.
We are looking for responsible and dependable individual or couple who LOVE cats! We have two, very sweet and people oriented cats, Pip and Hoot. They are indoor/outdoor (must be in at night). While they are easy to care for, they do require a routine feeding and medication (in food) schedule. They both have urinary / bladder issues and some anxiety when we are gone. However, we have noted that these concerns lessen with a live-in sitter that provides them with a lot of attention.
I am a pediatric speech language pathologist with a private practice and my husband is semi-retired from the computer tech business.
We have an amazing 17 year old daughter. We love to travel, learn, and laugh.
We are flexible on the return date, but would prefer to fly on Christmas Eve or Christmas. Thank you for considering!
I had a wonderful time staying with Pip & Hoot. If you are a cat person, these two are very special. The home was well maintained and everything was in working order. I was walking distance to Green Lake and enjoyed the area. I was in communication with Shana during their trip via text. Overall a very good experience.
I housesat for Shana and her cats Pip and Hoot four years ago and was thrilled they were looking for someone when I was back in town. The fact that the cats remembered me and invited me back into their fold instantly was a huge bonus too.
Shana and her family are great and I enjoy working with them to ensure the kitties were happy at all times.

Shana made us feel right at home from the start! Pip and Hoot were great! They are easy to care for and we loved playing with them. Their beautiful home is in a great area north of downtown and the walkability is excellent! We ran out of days to see things. I would highly recommend this sit and we look forward to a repeat sit!
I really enjoyed sitting with Shana and her family and Pip and Hoot and would love to come back. Their home was well maintained and in a fantastic location. Even though they were overseas when I was there they were always easy to reach when I had a question.
