We need a house sitter

Teresa & Roger

Hi,
We live in northeast Alabama on a beautiful mountain on about 40 acres. Woods and pasture all around, including a lovely river at the edge of the property. Have an elderly medium-sized dog, Glenny, who is loving and mostly likes to be with his humans, a small fish pond (feed once a day), and 3 rescue horses (feed once a day). We have a great neighbor who can help if needed, but mostly want our dog to be able to stay in his home. We are 15 minutes from two small towns and about 45 minutes from Birmingham, where there is a lot to do and see and which has a national reputation for civil rights and great food. We are both retired from our main jobs,, but I write and Roger is a part time freelance writer at our local newspaper. Let us know your interest and if you have questions ~Teresa & Roger

We spent a nice stay in Theresa and Roger's house . The house was nested at the end of a lane bordering the forest .we enjoyed staying on the porch with Glenny the dog . He was the nicest dog ! The horses became our friends too and it was fun to observe their behaviour. We explored the county: hiked, played pickleball. We made friends and had a wonderful social life . This part of Alabama is beautiful and Roger told us a lot about its history !

No rating I really enjoyed this experience. Their pets were trained and loving. They showed me how to care for their pets and provided me with everything I needed. Their house was very nice and easy to keep clean. I would sit for them again if they need me.
