Ponce Puerto Rico

Hello from paradise - tropical Puerto Rico!
I am in need of a house sitter to take care of my beautiful home, my cats, pet fish, chickens and plants for 3 weeks between October 25- November 16th.

My house is located in a small farm, it has a beautiful view of the south coast of the island from the porch and is nested within a land planted with many ornamentals, banana, citrus and coffee plants. I have two mostly indoor cats (a bit shy in the beginning but super friendly and funny when they get comfortable) and 3 fully outdoor cats.
I have a very small guppy fish pond, and quite a big flock of chickens (about 24 total now). They are free range so they get fed just once a day, but they do require some weekly cleaning of their coop and nesting area, and the eggs collected. If there are any new baby chickens during those dates, those will be kept in a cage to protect them from the hawks and cats, and will require cleaning at least 2-3 times a week.

It is the rainy season, so most of the ornamentals and plants will require no watering (unless too many days without rain). The potted plants on the porch will require watering as needed (depending on outside humidity and heat). The temperature is very comfortable during the day and night - it actually gets a bit chilly at night.

I will have a vehicle available for you to use, since the property is nested within the mountains of Ponce, PR and you will need transportation for groceries, exploring, etc. There is internet/wifi available and most of the time quite stable electricity. If it rains too much the electricity might go out, but will be back in a short time. Water has not been an issue and I do collect rain water for use with the animals.
