Looking for a housesitter or sitters for about a week; beginning and end dates can be adjusted a couple of days in either direction. . The sit is in a big comfortable modern house with all amenities in quiet, safe, friendly neighborhood fifteen minutes from downtown Asheville. Nice front porch for coffee on warm mornings. December weather in the area is typically perfect for walking, biking, hiking, racquet sports, etc. snow is possible but rarely more than an inch, and it melts quickly. December daytime temperatures are usually in the 50s and low 60s. But if you want to stay inside, house has strong wifi and cell signals ( Verizon and AT&T). TV with lots of subscription services, etc.., and furnaces for both upstairs and downstairs. Weaverville is a cute small town less than 10 minutes away with ample grocery shopping as well as nice “downtown” stores and restaurants. Zeke and Zoe need to be fed twice a day, have their box scooped daily, and have the cat door accessible on warm days while you’re home. We don’t let them stay out when we’re gone from the house, but they don’t get crazy if they can’’t go out. Zeke is generally a shy cat, although he does respond after a couple of days and becomes quite affectionate. Zoe is young, energetic and curious, but generally indifferent to patting although she likes to be near people. If she is stuck inside and gets rambunctious, YouTube Cat TV videos will distract her ( really; she likes watching!) There are a few houseplants but nothing complicated.
