Helena is the capital city and is a lovely, historic town with many cultural amenities and recreational opportunities, from ice boating, ice skating, cross-country and downhill skiing, hot springs, restaurants, theater, coffee houses, museums, and a symphony. Hiking on public lands 5 minutes from the house. End of the road privacy, very quiet, wonderful neighbors who are there when you need them and who pitch in to help with road plowing and maintenance. 360-degree views. Two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms available, den with smart TV, large desk for work space, high speed internet, lots of books, treadmill and exercise bike, grand piano, cook's kitchen. Sunny and peaceful retreat, perfect for someone looking for solitude perhaps to work on a project. Huge fenced back yard for the dogs--just let them out the door, but only when you are home. Barn with auto waterer and protected work space. Five acres total. Use of a car possible.
Two lively and affectionate 50# dogs, get along with everyone. Fed twice a day, need hiking treks nearly every day (an hour is sufficent). They will want to sleep with you! There are crates for when you need to be away (8 hours absolute max, and that long only infrequently). They love to ride in the car and go on excursions.
A horse and a mini horse, require experienced horseman/woman to feed, muck, and lay eyes on them. Well behaved and good ground manners, easy to handle. Grooming and hoof picking, making sure there is fresh water and safe fences and footing. Horses could go to boarding for the right person who lacks horse experience.
House Plants need watering once a week.
