Single story ranch on golf course

House is located on a prime public golf course. Very quiet gated community of 600 homes. There are 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen with eat-in area, bar and office area. Location is approximately 7 miles from the North Carolina coast with beautiful beaches. Lawn care provided. One dog: an Old English Sheepadoodle, 44 lbs, and 3 years old, loves the world. She has a fenced yard and a doggie door. One indoor/outdoor cat, Margaret Louise, 13.5yo.

FEATURES: Public golf course. Easy access to local beaches and interesting tourist sights A car can be available for your use.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Take care of cat and dogs.

This ranks as one of my most favorite sits, and as for why, I'll try to keep it brief. You'll have a very comprehensive care manual; I found myself referring to it multiple times for information and guidance. Additionally, this trio is brimming with personality; energetic Scout is unable to take a non-cute photo, quiet Waffle will win your heart with his gentle nature, and Margaret, without fail, will make sure you know when it's about time for dinner (even though it means she'll have to ... We spent a wonderful November at Sandy's home with an incredibly intelligent dog and cat. These lovely animals literally understand human speech and kept us delightful company. A home amidst golf courses and quiet lanes for walking, a 15 minute drive from the barrier island's endless ocean beaches and historic fort with beautiful wild-nature trails - what could be more perfect for peace and tranquility? We very much enjoyed this sit! Sandy is a great hostess who ensures her sitters have everything they need for a successful stay. We arrived a day early to meet her, Waffle (Goldendoodle), Scout (Sheepadoodle) & Margaret Louise (cat) & learn their routines which are documented in a comprehensive manual. No rating I had a great time house-sitting for Sandy. She is a great host and her house has anything you need for a great stay. Her two dogs have really well-behaved, like playing and seem to understand when you need some time for you to work or just to do errands. They love a good walk on the beach. They are quite fluent in French. I found myself speaking more in French to them than in English. LoL. Her little cat is just as demanding as other cats: where is my food? Isn't it food time?
