We need a house sitter

Hi! I am looking for a dog sitter(s) who is mature, responsible and loving to care for my affectionate and energetic french bulldog/Boston terrier mix named Gertie. She will be 1.5, and is smart and well trained.
PLEASE be a dog lover primarily, not just a housesitter. Non-smokers please.
I live just blocks from beautiful Tamarack beach in a charming coastal community that is very popular with tourists.

I also have a separate guest house on the property that we rent out. We would just need you to be available as the contact to respond to any emergency that might arise, and then contact us...but that would be a rare situation.
Gertie would only be at the house 5/2-5/19. Her dad is picking her up to keep for the rest of the month, so it will just be housesitting and enjoying the beach!
I may need to change the dates to 5/2-5/19, so it would be great if both of those dates options would work for you.

Laurie and Kirby were great communicators and left great instructions. Piper and Cowboy were great dogs to sit. They had such personalities, well behaved, like to sit with you either sunning, sleeping while reading, etc. The house is very comfortable, nice space with great outdoor spaces for relaxing. The location is perfect. Short walk to beach assess, a 1 mile walk to Carlsbad Village and access to Laguna trails and Rail trails for walking/biking. Loved the May gray/June Gloom ... MORE

Laurie and Kirby were great hosts!! I enjoyed the pups! Pieper and Cowboy were so much fun! Being right by the beach was great for walking and sight-seeing! Their home was so comfortable and the outdoor seating areas in front and back were relaxing!! Look forward to sitting for them again!!

No rating I sat for Laurie's dogs Cowboy & Piper for 3 weeks in Sept/Oct 2016. They have a very nice, clean & comfortable home in a nice neighborhood. It was walking distance to the beach & convenient to the expressway, restaurants and groceries. Cowboy & Piper ... I fell in love with and they were great company. I'd highly recommend sitting for them.
