New York City/Long Island - Kings

My lovely Brooklyn Heights apartment and two mature and affectionate cats need TLC while I'm away. This is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment on the fourth floor of a quiet, tree-lined street in a historic neighborhood close to restaurants, subways, parks and attractions, including the Brooklyn Bridge. We are in an elevator building with 24-hour doormen, a laundry room in the building basement and a shared roof deck. The main bedroom is large, with a queen-sized bed; the second bedroom is small but has a comfortable daybed and is ideal for one person. We have wifi but NO cable, a kitchen with excellent appliances, and a tub/shower in the bathroom. This is an ideal spot for a couple looking for a quiet base from which to explore New York City, for someone who wants a calm place to work, or for a couple of travelers who don't want to share a room. The cats, MaryKay and Cielo, are affectionate and love human company; all you need to do is feed them, keep their litter box clean, and enjoy their companionship. Cielo, 9, is mostly blind, but that doesn't stop him from behaving like he runs the world. MaryKay, 12, is playful and cuddly and will climb into bed with you if you let her. They tend to start demanding breakfast early, so late sleepers might not like that.
No smokers, children or additional pets.
