PET CARE:
I am looking for an apartment/pet sitter for my female Maine Coon. Tequila tends to be shy when meeting new people but once she understands you are there to look after her, she tends to warm up a bit. She likes to just chill. If you sit on the couch and watch movies, she may join you. If you're up and about all the time, she will stay out of your way.

Tequila's general care is very easy; a lot of her stuff is automated (Litter Robot and Water Fountain), and she will let you know if she wants to play, so aside from feeding and grooming, most of your time can be spent relaxing or exploring nearby Chicago.

Families are welcome, however Tequila is not a fan of being picked up or overly loud environments, so small kids may not be best, but she is a gentle giant, so as long as they can respect her, she will be okay.

DATES:
My official dates are Thursday July 30 (My flight is at 6pm, so I will be available until around 2pm for arrival protocols - although earlier would be better) through to Sunday August 17. I will be back stateside on the 12th, but have a local event from 13-17 that I always stay in a hotel for due to the commute and start/finish times.

APARTMENT SPACE
My apartment is a 2 bedroom, I have a Queen bed in the main, a folding full bed in the spare (shared with cat box and study) and a Queen sofa bed in the living room if you need additional space.

If you are a remote worker, I have a standing desk space with two HDMI ready screens.

I am on the ground floor, however there are still a couple of stairs for entry/exit.

AREA:
Oak Park is the first suburb just west of Chicago and is the best of both worlds. The apartment is a 5 min walk to the BLUE line that runs direct from O'Hare international (10 mins for the luggage friendly entry), as well as easy access to the Eisenhower (290) and will easily connect you to the city and all its entertainment and amenities. If you have a car, short term street parking is available, but nightly permits would need to be requested through an app (max 10 nights per license plate per month) - permits are not required during major holiday periods.
