Ravenna Michigan

Michigan in the summertime is amazing! Beaches, sand, warm weather, and lots of other things to do around this area. We are located about 20 minutes from the Lake Michigan beach towns of Grand Haven and Muskegon. Grand Rapids is also a 20 minute drive west. Our location is close enough to big towns, but in the country and so quiet and peaceful. . We have a house on 40 acres in the country with an awesome nature park right down the street. We have 3 amazing dogs (2 Alaskan Klee Kai and 1 miniature Bull Terrier—a small version of the Target dog). We have a 3bdr 2 bath house we built in 2022 when I retired from the military. One of the spare rooms has a queen bed and the other is set up as a toy room but we also have an air mattress for that room if needed. If you are not comfortable using a zero turn lawn mower, we can get someone to mow the lawn for us. Our pups are the most important thing to us and they are very friendly and love to cuddle! They have a doggie door and fenced in area so they are fairly self reliant if our house sitter wants to spend time during the day exploring the local area. Our pups also love going for car rides and walks wherever we go. When we leave the house, we have a “dog proofing” routine we do when we leave because the dogs will be mischievous if they get bored. I am retired military and my husband is retired law enforcement and we are pretty laid back people. This summer, we have to take a trip back Oregon, (hubby’s home state) and are unable to take our dogs with us. We will have a vehicle available if needed.
