Hi from Partlow, Virginia! We are just 30 minutes SW of Fredericksburg, 15 minutes to Lake Anna, 20 minutes to Lake Anna State Park, less than a hour to several Civil War battlefields, one hour from Richmond, 75 minutes from Charlottesville, the Blue Ridge Mountains and Virginia wine country.
We live in a newly constructed 3000+ SF, 4 bedroom house on 3.5 acres (mostly wooded) in a quiet, 42 home subdivision, with our dog, Pringles.
We rescued Pringles just over 6 years ago. She is 50% American Staffordshire, 25% Rottweiler, and 25% Greyhound. Better said, she prefers humans than animals, she is muscular, and she is fast with a high chase reflex! She loves to play chase (meaning you chase her with her ball in her mouth), playing hide and seek with her treats after dinner (we do the hiding and she does the seeking), and cuddling up on the couch during some evening tv watching.
We have a quarter mile trail on the property where we walk her 3-4x per day. This lets her run, sniff, explore, do her business, and zoomie to burn off her energy! We use an e-collar while she’s on the trail to allow her to run freely as well as ensure she doesn’t chase the rabbits or deer out of sight. She is a lovely and special dog and we’re sure you’ll love her too!

What an absolute pleasure to house sit for the beautiful, sweet Miss Pringles and John and Rae. I knew when I saw Pringle's picture on-line that this was a no brainer for me. John and Rae are the absolute best. Their home is beautiful and sits on lovely acreage. Rae was so sweet asking what type of snakes or beverages I would like during my stay..
