Do the math
Whether you're sitting for free, or getting paid, house sitting can be a wonderful way to save, or make, good money.
Heartland - Madison
Lise
Our ranch is just outside the city limits of Berea, within 10 minutes of stores & necessary services. and 5-10 minutes from the I75 Berea exits. The house is 3 bedroom with central heat, & a porch with view of the pond. The horses are my prime concern- they include 2 pregnant mares, so someone that knows if a vet needs to be called is important. I expect them to be out in the pasture 24/7 while we are gone, unless there is some medical reason for any to come in while we are away. They will be UTD on their shots and getting fed for their last trimester of gestation. We have a gator for your use in getting hay & grain out to the pastures.
The cats are cats, most will not be happy with strangers, but they've had house-sitters before. The chickens won't be a problem and may be laying again by then- help yourself to fresh eggs if they are! My houseplants don't require fussing- Christmas cactus and orchids. We have a website & FaceBook page for our horse ranch, please feel free to check us out if you'd like to verify us, we are Jumper's Sport Horses.
I have ticked the free house-sitters box, but am willing to pay the right someone.
