Tom and Jan were excellent host prior to leaving for there trip. Beautiful home and gorgeous backyard. They have done a beautiful job throughout the years with landscaping. Buddy, spanky, and Lulu have big personalities. Very sweet, friendly, and so cuddly. They enjoyed hanging out with us as much as we enjoyed being with them. Lemons, and limes plentiful. We were close to town and walked daily. Thanks again Tom and Jan for trusting us with your furry family and home❤️

We recently house sat for Jan and Thom. We arrived the evening before our sit and had a great introduction, and home cooked dinner. Their place is exceptionally neat and homely, the gardens are expansive and out of this world, however they are very low maintenance, with auto watering, and the plants are mainly succulents. Their place is exceptionally neat and homely, the gardens are expansive and out of this world, however they are very low maintenance, with auto watering, and the plants are mainly succulents. A very relaxing place to be in the evening. The three cats, Buddy, Lulu, and Spanky are friendly and loving. It's a very lovely area with friendly neighbour's. When we looked after the place, there were excess produce from the garden, which we certainly appreciated and used. The spare room had its own bathroom, and was very comfortable. Thank you guys for your hospitality, we will recount this experience for a very long time.

This was my second sit at Jan and Thom's home and I just love staying there. They have such a beautiful and comfortable house and garden. All three cats are sweet and easy to care for with distinct personalities. They don't need much, but are always available for some petting and hanging out in the yard. Jan is a great communicator and was very responsive when I texted with a question. The wifi works great and I was able to work and conduct Zoom meetings without issue. I felt safe in the neighborhood and enjoyed walking at the Arboretum and on the Stanislaus campus. I would happily return to Jan and Thom's again.

I had cold symptoms the days before my stay, so we cancelled plans to meet a day early and I arrived the morning of the stay for a brief, masked tour. The next day I tested positive for Covid. Jan was understanding and responsive, offering up food in the house and even having her neighbor leave me a dozen fresh eggs. An Instacart delivery provided all I needed. The house was so ... We arrived a day early to meet them all personally. They showed us around the house and gardens and informed us both verbally and in extensive, helpful notes exactly what to do, and what was expected and that was amazing. They responded to emails and texts quickly and thoroughly and we in ... They responded to emails and texts quickly and thoroughly and we in return, kept them updated with pictures and short notes letting them know about the goings-on of their beloved cats who were just the BEST! The house is just a gourmet's delight. I had a blast... Books on every shelf for reading and the garden was a dream Anytime they need someone we will be there!

What a lovely experience! The house and gardens were so stunning and so Zen. The 3 cats were easy to care for and very sweet and loving. The horse across the street was treated to carrots each day which was fun. Cute little towns around to check out and a lot of delicious produce and local honey. Most of all, Jan and Thom were very communicative and kind. I would house/kitty sit for them again! It was a great week!

What a peaceful, beautiful home. The house is large and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The garden is huge and stunning. Janine and Tom were so lovely from the moment we started communicating. Would go back for sure!

We shared a meal together the night before they left, and they showed us the details of house and kitty care. This was an awesome house/pet sitting gig. Jan & Thom are so sweet and accommodating. There happen to be a bad heat wave during the two different times I had planned to stay and I wasn't going to be able to keep my old cat cool in my rig so they let her stay in the house, I kept her locked in the room where we slept which is wonderful because even at night it was hot outside. House sitting for Janice and Thom was pure Joy. They're super sweet people and took me out to lunch beforehand. They also left a detailed list of all the important info (which I appreciate). The home was so comfy and the backyard was a Gardner's paradise. The 3 cats were the easiest I've ever cared for. With their own cat door to roam freely inside/out and no kitty litter to clean. Sitting for Jan and Thom and their cats was a pleasure! Their home is very comfortable and the kitties are sweet and easy to please. The watering took hardly any time at all. They are very kind, left organized instructions, and communication throughout my stay was easy. I highly recommend sitting for them and would certainly do it again should the timing work out!
