We are a retired couple who will travel this winter. We have had and prefer a couple to take care of the home front and our two sweet kitties. We have a ‘Tuxedo’ cat and a black Spooky cat - - Sylvia has now been with us for some time and is loving, however, she has been shy and hides from our puppy, Sommer. Our other cat is Spooky, and as his name implies, plays hide-n-seek a lot. When he goes outside, he is often gone for days but when he comes back home, he is lovable as can be - - until next time. Our dog Sommer will travel with us and Sylvia and Spooky can enjoy their own home in a large heated shed (as they are not ‘house’ cats) where they can be spoiled by our House Sitter. We have no livestock to care for other than our beloved kitties.

The House Sitters must have reliable transportation as we live out in the country with no real close neighbors. Our needs are primarily for a presence in the home and to care for it as well as caring for Sylvia, and Spooky - collect mail, water plants etc.

We are flexible with timing. We listed some 'hard dates for our needs as to our departure and return times as required by the listing.
