Volcano Country - Pierce
Paula
Our modest midcentury modern home is located on 1/3 acre in a quiet semi-rural area of unincorporated Pierce County, between Tacoma and Puyallup Washington, 45 minutes south of the Sea Tac airport.
Our pets include 2 senior dogs, both mixed breed mutts, and 3 indoor-only female cats, one aged 15 and two 10 year olds.
Our oldest dog, Tippy, a 35 lbs wire haired terrier mix, is deaf and occasionally has unexpected bowel movements that are easily dealt with. Supplies for this will be provided. Her buddy Jack is an 18 lb black and tan couch hippo with Cairn Terrier looks and temperament.
Our oldest cat, Kiera spends most of her time on a heating pad on a small table by a window, sleeping and bird watching. Sasha is a large loud fuzzy Maine Coon mix who enjoys being brushed daily and spends her time in living room and kitchen. Andi is a skittish tuxedo cat who lives primarily in our bedroom area of the house. She is not above launching a physical attack on occasion, so be mindful.
All pets are feed at 4pm. Dry food and fresh water are available all day, in the kitchen.
As for ambiance, the living room windows look out on the front patio that includes a small pond where birds come to drink and bathe, and also look out on the large back garden area, where we have several types of bird feeders and two small fountains, to support bird life. Neighboring cats also come by.
Due to the time of year and short term for this sit, the garden and yard will likely not need care, but few indoor plants will need some small attention.
We always provide further detailed written notes about house and pets on site. For information about the area and services, a Goggle search is suggested.
