Seattle Washington

We are a married couple with a teenage daughter, two young cats and a love for travel. We live in a 1920's 2-story Craftsman in an urban-ish neighborhood 15 minute drive north of downtown Seattle in the Ballard neighborhood. We have a guest bedroom on the main floor, nicely appointed with a TV and freshly updated. The full bath is right next to the bedroom (not attached). Kitchen/dining room is modern and previous housesitters have described the house as comfortable and welcoming and light. There is a backyard and deck with garden, and watering only needs to be done June-October. The kitties are sibling tabbies and low-maintenance with an auto-feeder that I usually fill at their dinnertime at 5. So you can get away with once-daily care/feeding if need be and if you wish to explore the area. One cat gets powdered medication sprinkled on canned food at dinner. Litter boxes are all upstairs away from bedroom, and are pine pellets and easy to use. There is parking on the street in front of our house, and a busline is a block away. Easy walking to great pizza and thai food and pub fare, a fun and vibrant Seattle neighborhood. Peekaboo view of Mt Rainier. An easy sit, we are told. Welcome!
