Beautiful Boise, Idaho! Seeking responsible, mature sitter(s) for our home, 2 dogs (Weimaraner and German Shorthair Pointer) and 2 horses. Our home and barn are situated on 20 acres with room for your vehicles, RV or toys. We have a large kitchen, nice guest room with ensuite bath, and foothills to hike from our backyard. There's also a big porch overlooking our field for relaxing and watching the sunset. You will be in NW Boise, 4 miles from grocery stores and restaurants and Boise's "greenbelt" for walking or bike riding. There are several "Ridge to Rivers" trailheads close by for hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Approximately 10 miles away is downtown Boise with excellent restaurants and fun activities.

Possible fun day trips include sleigh rides with elk viewing, several ski resorts (Bogus Basin, Tamarack or Brundage), or a visit to the beautiful mountain town of McCall.

Our critters need to be fed twice a day with periodic water checks, and Bill and Freckles (the dogs) like to go along during feedings. It will be chilly here (40's during the day, 20's during the night), but still beautiful. Thanks for looking!

Communication with Sharon was Excellent. Taking care of the animals, Cow's, horse's and the dog's Bill and Freckles was a joy. The house was a warm friendly home to stay and enjoy.

Sharon and Mike provided detailed directions outlining the care for their animals as well as for their beautiful home. They were great communicators, and during our interactions, it felt as if we were chatting with close friends. Taking care of the horses and dogs was a pleasure. We highly recommend anyone who is interested in staying in the Boise area to house sit for this couple. It was a terrific experience and we hope to be able to connect with them again in the future!
