San Marcos California

These dates are our travel dates but we can work the days around your schedule. Our house sits on one acre near a beautiful park conveniently located near town but not in town..There are horse properties on both sides lending a rural feel to the area.We are close to many hiking areas but also 30 -40 minutes from San Diego , museums, Safari Park ,night life, 25 minutes from the beach or a quick trip north to L.A. or Orange county beaches.It really is a convenient location. The house is older but comfortable.
Standard kitchen, 2 bathrooms, good sized master bedroom. We have central heating but use space heaters in each room.There is an new air conditioner for the master bedroom and bath. We have a vegetable garden and landscaping but its on timed irrigation so will not be a bother. If something goes wrong we will deal with it when we return..Our neighbors will help with any questions you might have.
Our 3 year old border collie,Liz, spends her time out in the yard digging and chasing rodents.She loves her walk to the park but that is not expected of you.We are careful about letting her out too early as coyotes are a concern here.When you leave for the day she stays inside, no problem.We hope you enjoy your time here and treat our affectionate dog as though she were yours.
