We are needing a housesitter ASAP as we are currently away and the current sitter is not able to continue the assignment.
We own a 2 story home in Denver that's walking distance to the B -line, which is the train to downtown Union Station. The top floor has a bathroom with shower and kitchen/living space. In the basement, we have a TV and workout area and the guest bedroom with a bathroom plus an office space. The backyard is completely fenced in with a firepit you can enjoy. The house has centralized air to keep warm in the Winter.
The house is in a great location to walk to the train to go downtown, plus it's within 2-3 miles of several breweries and restaurants.
We have a cat who will require daily feeding and liter box cleaning. He is a friendly cat. Ideally you are a cat person who understands cat behavior and temperament.
We also have house plants that will need to be watered every week or so.
We have a guest bedroom downstairs. We'll provide fresh linens and towels for you to use. Our main ask if you treat our home and cat as if they were your own.
Wonderful house, wonderful people, lively neighborhood, very endearing cat. The cat was very friendly and we got along well, but I had a lot to learn about feline habits and preferences. All worked out well, and would love to do it again.
Betonya and Cathal are polite and easy-going house owners. The guest room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean. They provided us with a space where we could meet all our needs. We stayed in their house for a week and didn't experience any problems. The location of the house was advantageous as it is close to the train station. They made me feel at home. The hospitality extended beyond just hosting, and I also enjoyed the charm of the city. Fred and Gene were adorable and full of love, my boyfriend and I we loved spending time with them.

Housesitting for Betonya and Cathal was a great experience! Fred has a strong, fun personality. He loves to play and is super excitable. As much as he loves to play he'll also be content cuddling on the couch. Gene is very lowkey, they both love treats. The house is in a safe neighborhood and close to public transportation which was great. I felt comfortable the whole time and would recommend this sit!
You can keep it close to home, or you can use house sitting as a way to travel on a shoestring. It's all good, and it starts here.
