We offer a beautiful home close to downtown Seattle, rated highly by past sitters. Our accommodation provides great value and mutual benefits for both the homeowner and sitter. While we believe the experience of staying in our home is rewarding in itself, we are also willing to offer a daily fee of $40 for the right house sitter who can provide excellent care for our two friendly Golden Retrievers and maintain our home.

If you have got this far, thank you for your interest in our requested house sit. We are seeking a house-sitter to stay with our two Golden Retrievers, Henry and Maya, at our home in the Seward Park neighborhood of Seattle.
We have a beautiful well-appointed historic Craftsmen house with a large fenced-in yard and two impressive mature, old-growth trees, a huge elevated deck with sofa and fire table, as well as a Weber gas grill & hot tub spa under a gazebo for year-round enjoyment. We also have a Solo Stove equipped outdoor firepit area. Our home has plenty of space to relax in and is located in close proximity to multiple lakefront parks and public access points on beautiful Lake Washington, located 10-15 minutes from downtown with no traffic.
Our Goldens are super easy going, love to show off their toys, and are always ready for pets and attention. We would love to share our beautiful home with the right person, couple, or family while we are away. We ask that you stay overnight at our house while we are away and take the dogs out for a brief walk, if weather permits. Obviously, free to explore the great beauty of Seattle and Washington during your stay, we just don't want the dogs cooped up for long periods of time.
We are willing to provide you with a vehicle, however proof of a valid driver's license and details of a current auto insurance policy of your own will need to be provided to utilize our vehicle. Upon a confirmed sit, we are happy to discuss more details.

It was great seeing the Goldens again! Maya and Henry are very sweet dogs and love adventures! They make great nature buddies and will always welcome love and affection.

The 2 golden retrievers are the best dogs...very sweet and well-behaved. We went on some excellent walks. The house was lovely and easy to care-for. I would definitely recommend staying at Steve & Kristin's and taking care of Maya and Henry. :)
Stephen and Kristin were awesome to house and pet sit for. They communicate very well, are very detailed and fantastic to work with. Their home is wonderful, clean and well appointed, The home is close to everything you need or would want to do including nice parks, to walk in and enjoy. Henry and Maya are happy, healthy, very smart and a joy to be around and take care of. We would be more than happy to sit for them in the future. We highly recommend them in every way.

Kristin and Steve are so generous and made spending the week with Henry and Maya incredible! Their house is stunning, cozy, and only 15 minutes from downtown. Also very close to local transit! Henry and Maya are sooo sweet and entertaining to be around. They're great on walks together and love to show off their toys. I felt very comfortable during my stay and would happily go back anytime.
