Keri
We are looking for someone to house/pet sit while we are out of town in between Christmas and New Years'. Ideal for someone who works from home or is just looking for a change of scenery. We have 2 cuddly indoor cats, and an energetic and sweet dog. She's very protective of us and her home but with a firm but loving touch, you'll win her over. Our dog, Paddy, doesn't like to be home alone for long periods of time. We also have a turtle which needs a pinch of food every other day and a gecko who needs to be fed live crickets every other day. Not everyone's thing but it's not as unpleasant as it may sound!
Our house is located in a quiet residential family-filled neighborhood within walking distance of lots of bars and wonderful restaurants. The lakefront beaches are about 1.5 miles away. The Loop is a quick trip on the El. Free and easy-to-find parking is available on the street.
Please note: We are on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the house. There is a fairly long and steep stairway to the 2nd floor which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
Keri and Chris were such welcoming and kind people! Their guest room was clean and very comfortable. The pets were great- I loved hanging out with Paddy (the dog), Scratchy & Monty (the cats) & a friendly gecko and turtle! Would definitely sit for them again!
Lovely home, lovely animals, lovely family. Scratchy is very smart and loving, and I would care for him and the other pets again 🙂

Keri was very easy to communicate with, the whole family was lovely. Their home is in a great location and all of their pets are very friendly and lovely! We would definitely return!
Keri is such a hospitable person, she coordinated to pick me up and bring me to her home when I arrived to town and drop me off when the house sit ended. I really enjoyed sitting her pets. They were all well trained and easy going. Keri's home is very comfortable and the location is safe and convenient. She provided detailed instructions and was always available to connect during her travels. I would love to sit the pets here again, thanks for the opportunity!
I enjoyed watching Lola and scratchy Keri was a very nice host. This place is an awesome place to sit for. I would always come to watch her place always and her husband Chris was a super nice guy and her boys was very good kids I love them all
