Drake Colorado

My house is a 2 bed 1 bath cabin on 5 acres in a small mountain community, about 35 minutes from Estes Park and Loveland. It's about 35 minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park as well. Hiking, mountaineering, rock/alpine climbing, skiiing, and fly fishing are some of the biggest activities here. The house has a fully stocked kitchen and pellet stove for easy heating. There is also a hot tub and sauna outside.

You must be very capable at driving in the snow and on 4x4 roads. I am about 5 miles down a forest road that is often snowy and icy. High clearance, excellent tires, and AWD/4WD absolutely required. I have also needed chains during some of the bigger storms. My AWD Mazda CX5 will be available and has been trustworthy in the past few winters.

I have two cats that are indoor/outdoor and low maintenance. They like people and attention and mostly stay inside during the colder temperatures.
