I live on a 1 1/2 acre gated and fence mini farm in North San Diego County with an Air BnB cottage on the property. My guests are overwhelmingly wonderful and friendly people and the majority come because they love animals.

My house is a small 2 br cozy farmhouse. I have 3 easy dogs, 1 failed barn cat, (now a bed cat) 2 mini donkeys, a mini goat, mini pig and a sheep, 2 geese, several chickens and an 90 lb. sulcata tortoise, all super friendly pets.

Feeding takes about 10/15 minutes am and pm once you get it down.. Cleaning can be done on an as needed basis, 15/30 minutes.. Watering plants is limited to around the house, 15/20 minutes every 2 or 3 days or as needed.

I had 9 5 star reviews from sitters and several repeat sitters on another housesitting site but they don't allow an Air BnB on the property so am brand new to this site. I do all of the managing and communications myself and have a cleaner, but I would like my sitter to be a friendly face and presence on the property and there in case the guests need anything. I am happy to pay 10% of the Air bnB net, usually between $200 and $300 a month, depending on occupancy, for the right person.

My ideal sitters would be friendly, social, easy going, responsible and not afraid to get a little dirty. It's a small house so singles or couples are best. Sorry, because of the animals and liability no young children.

I'm still a sitter on the other site and am looking for sits myself to get away this fall or later in the winter.. I'd like to see if it is as easy to get qualified sitters on this site as it was on the other. If you have any interest in sitting for us at any point, I'd love to hear from you and maybe we can work out some dates, either for these dates or maybe some time in the future as I do travel frequently. Short term and longer term.
