Sit local, or anywhere
You can keep it close to home, or you can use house sitting as a way to travel on a shoestring. It's all good, and it starts here.
King Country - King

Hello, we are looking for someone to take care of our animals and house while we are traveling. Our house is located in south Seattle and is a great jumping point for any activities you might want to explore for a couple hours at a time. We have a Bernese Mtn dog (age 6), a corgi (age 3), and a labradoodle (age 1). They eat twice a day (630am and 6pm) and do not have special needs/medication, but do enjoy time in the yard, naps, and cuddling whoever comes to visit. We'd ask that they not be left alone for more than 6 hours at a time. We also have 5 runner ducks and 2 African geese who roam the yard during the day and get locked up at night. We'd like someone willing to corral them each night for their safety (around 930pm), collect eggs in the morning when they're let out (around 7am), and maintain their access to fresh water and food. No coop cleaning will be necessary.
