I am a retired English lady and I live in a 3,000 sq.ft single story modern home on a 2 acre wooded property. Located in an acreage community about 30 minutes drive from The Woodlands township, where there are shops, parks, nice restaurants etc. as well as walking trails. The subdivision I live in has lakes, horse trails and a golf course. It is about 20 minutes from the small town of Magnolia. and about 45-60 minute drive into Houston, a large metropolis that has everything. Local attractions include Old Town Spring, Lake Conroe, Kemah, NASA Space Center, and Galveston with it's mansions, historic Strand and interesting museums.

My home is clean and well maintained. I have 3 somewhat elderly indoor only cats that will need feeding twice a day, one of which will need extra treats as he is very skinny. They will need their water and dry food topped up as needed. There are 5 litter boxes (kept in the garage, they have a cat door) which will need to be scooped daily. One cat needs oral medication for diabetes once daily, he is not difficult to medicate. Pets and scritches are appreciated, and they love to be brushed! There is an aquarium with 3 fish which will only need feeding once daily. There are a few indoor potted plants that will need watering once weekly and a couple of outside plants that will need to be watered as needed. I have a regular house cleaner (every 2 weeks), and lawn care (every 2 weeks) will be provided. The trash can will need to be taken out to the road as needed. Use of a car (Tahoe) available if needed.

I am looking for a cat-loving sitter or couple who will look after my home and pets, keep the home clean and maintain good communication with me while I am travelling. The cats may try to sleep with you but can be shut out of your room if you prefer. Your accommodation will be the guest room (pictured) and guest bathroom, which has a dual vanity and tub/shower.
