We need some cat-oriented people to care for our easy five. Aside from feeding them, caring for their boxes and some petting, they are very self sufficient.
We are located about six miles inland from the Coast, in a forest of redwoods. In Point Arena, there is a library, dentist, theater, gas station, post office and several restaurants. There is a wonderful bakery and an excellent coffee and sandwich cafe.
In Gualala, ten miles south, there is a medical clinic, dentist, two supermarkets, two gas stations, post office, pharmacy and several restaurants.
In Anchor Bay, in between, there is a market and a very good Thai restaurant.
In the immediate area there are numerous hiking trails. There is kayaking rental on the Gualala River which lies just between Sonoma and Mendocino Counties.
There is ocean fishing available and some good surfing spots for surfers.
There is a local small plane airport. The nearest larger one is Charles Schulz airport in Santa Rosa.
