Jackie is a Registered Nurse (retired) and with her husband Richard has owned and operated Shane Acres Country Inn. Their 9-bedroom Bed and Breakfast Inn was rated by TripAdvisor in the top 2.7% nationally of all hotels and hospitality venues. Imagine having hundreds of guests staying at your home each year and then rating you online on every detail from housekeeping to personality. After selling the BnB last December, we traveled from New Zealand to Gibraltor, caring for people's homes and pets through TrustedHousesitters...... Again, we were rated and reviewed. Those reports are available to you. We will give that same care and attention to detail to your home, yard and pets. Because our inn was pet-friendly, we welcomed pets as if they were our own. Equally important, our guests were pleased with they way their pets took to us. Guests felt free to attend a nearby wedding or family event, knowing their beloved pet would be comfortable and at ease until they returned. On our 10-acre site on the South Branch of the Horicon Marsh, we enjoyed and cared for geese, cranes, a red fox, deer and even a possum who grew up with our outdoor cats and still eats out of the same dish alongside the cats. We have raised chickens and farm animals as kids. We have owned and cared for large estates, and we have won recognition for our care and competence.
