I’m looking for some opportunities to house and pet sit as I recently retired and traveling is my passion. I also recently lost my husband and my dog and have no obligations.

We’ve had several cats and dogs over the 34 years we’ve lived in our home, all of which were adopted and lived out their lives here. We also had reptiles, birds and fish.

I am a youthful, healthy 71 year old. I hike and take long walks daily. I sail, kayak, ski, love animals, history and geology. I have a large network of friends and family, a long, reputable career, a garden full of tropical plants and flowers and a house to compliment my yard. I live in Ventura County, Southern California. 

Presently, I house and pet sit locally for friends when they travel. I’m ready to see the world again as I love the culture of other villages, towns and cities and the history behind it. I felt it would be good to find house and pet sitting jobs locally through this year and broaden it to internationally next year..
