Hello, I'm Jess! I'm a northwest native, PhD student, and animal lover who can't currently have my own pets, so I've been making furry friends as a pet sitter since 2021!

I have owned and cared for pets for 20+ years and grew up in a house that had no less than 4 pets at all times--I believe pets are family! In my 3 years of full time sitting I have cared for over 20 different homes and 40+ pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and even llamas. I am honoured to be welcomed into my clients homes and I make every effort to provide your home and pets with the same standard of care that you would yourself, so that you can enjoy the peace of mind of returning to your home just as you left it.

PET WHISPERER - CONFIDENT WITH DIFFICULT BREEDS

I have experience with all kinds of dogs and cats, chooks, rabbits, fish and reptiles. I cater to each pet's individual needs (walks to their energy level, etc) and replicate their daily routine so they feel comfortable and content while you're away. I've owned and cared for big dogs, reactive and aggressive dogs, and dogs that like to run away, and I have the skills to handle dogs with behavioural issues. I prioritize safety and am certified in dog and cat fist aid.

SKILLED TRAINER, RESPONSIVE COMMUNICATOR

I'll not only keep your dog's training while you're away, they might even have something new to show you when you return. I'm constantly trying to evolve my technique by working with trainers in the industry, and am currently contributing to K9 of Mine's course development. My philosophy is based on positive reinforcement, trust, safety, and well-being. I especially prioritize good communication with you, the pet parent, so I can provide the best standard of care possible and so that you can have peace of mind while you are away from your pet.

WFH ALL DAY AVAILABILITY + RELIABLE COMMUNICATION + DAILY PET PHOTOS

I work from home and usually have a lot of reading and writing to do, so I'm happy to be at home all day keeping your pets company and your house secure. I'm reliable and a great communicator. I send daily photos and updates so you never have to worry about your fur babies. I love to take action shots and portraits of your pets - you'll have a gallery to choose from by the end of the sit (see my photo gallery for some of my satisfied clients!)

HOME MAINTENANCE MAESTRO + CLEANLINESS CONNOISSEUR

I'm proactive about maintenance, watching out for leaks, filters, pests, chimneys, gutters, plumbing and electrical issues and keeping you informed. I'm also keen to get my hands dirty, potter about watering and pulling a few weeds and keeping the lawns cut. I'm exceptionally tidy and clean and will leave your house absolutely spotless! And your domestic goods will never become snacks or chew toys.
