I am an experienced overnight house and pet sitter for hire. I do travel, although not further than Virginia during the winter months. I am a writer so isolation and solitude are preferable although not necessary. I will consider both long and short term gigs. Farms and large/multiple dogs OK.

It was wonderful to have Ruth looking after my furry crew during our recent trip. She provided great communication throughout the process and took great care of everybody. She kept the house clean and did a great job with my somewhat needy German Shepherd. I think he still misses her! I highly recommend her.

Ruth exceeded all expectations! She was wonderful with the animals, the house was spotless, she kept in touch with us throughout the sit... the dogs wanted to know if we could keep her! She was very personable and professional, and I hope to use her again in the future!
