Jim & Jan

Hello! We are a clean and neat, quiet, non-smoking couple who were married in 1990, and have made our home in the Kansas City area since. We have both recently retired and are excited to begin traveling and further explore this great country and beyond. We celebrated our retirements by going on our first ever Viking river cruise - through the Czech Republic, Germany, and France.

Jan's first career was in human resources and benefits for a local life insurance company. After a short break to raise our three wonderful children (now in their mid and upper 20's) she took a leap with her sister and went into the bakery business. After making award winning pies (like Grandma did) for twenty years she recently sold her shop and entered retirement. I (Jim) worked as an accountant and as an executive for life and health insurance companies (yes, that is how we met) for 40 years until recently retiring. We are previous pet owners and our beloved cat Lily recently passed.
