Hello! I am excited to learn about how your home works and to meet the furry/feathery members of your family. I am looking for new adventures far and wide. Very experienced with animals and have been a homeowner for 30 years. I understand the importance of respecting your property and keeping you up to date on the health and happiness of your beloved pets. So happy to share this exciting new adventure with you! I do not smoke or do drugs. I have found it often works to come to your home a couple of days in advance to learn your routines. Always willing to commit to extra days should your flight be delayed. I want to make it easy on you and maintain a pleasant, loving environment for your pets.

Why I want to house sit

House sitting is a great way to engage with real communities in a more personal way. It is so nice to return to a real home after sight-seeing, to be greeted by yips and yaps and wagging tails, to sit around the kitchen table with fresh bread and fruit, to greet the neighbor as she waves from her window. Prefer "settling in" to vacationing, I guess! And having pets around is all the more enjoyable. I have three rescue dogs of my own. Wish they could travel with us but it is impossible -- they stay with my son when I travel. But animals bring joy to our every waking moment. Having "pets on loan" to share my travel experience makes it even more memorable. It is my goal to learn their personalities, give them the love and attention they deserve, keep them close, well-exercised and on the schedules your family has set for them. I am comfortable giving medications. I appreciate the opportunity you have given me to care for the most important things in your life -- your home and the animals you love. My first priority is to give you peace of mind while you enjoy a long-awaited vacation or work away from home.

What i bring to the assignment / relevant experience

I adore animals, first and foremost. Extensive foreign and domestic travel--comfortable most anywhere! Maturity. Long-time pet owner (dogs and cats) and 30-year homeowner. Clean and adjust chemicals in my FL pool. If your home is for sale, I can be counted on to keep it in "show-worthy" condition, with flowers on the counter and cookies on the counter.
