I lived on Oahu for nearly 40 years working for the Department of Education, The Kahala Hilton/Mandarin (29 yrs.) and the airlines (9 yrs.). I owned a home on Oahu for over 35 years before moving to Campbell, CA. to care for my parents who have since passed.. I have always been a cat and dog lover. I lived on a farm as a youngster. I have been a house-sitter and pet-sitter for numerous friends on Oahu and California since the early 1980's. Pet care, yard care and security was the primary concern. Locations include Hawaii Kai, Manoa, Niu Valley, and Kahala on Oahu. San Diego, Novato, San Francisco, Huntington Beach, and La Quinta, in California. I am available for locations throughout the USA. I am an avid fly fisherman and love to read. I play golf and ride my bike daily. I am married, but my wife prefers to stay home when I house-sit. We are non-smokers and non-drinkers. James and Linh came to sit my two dogs for five days. We met to go over the details prior to the sit. They were both very kind, on time and did a great job taking care of the house and my dogs. They communicated very well and left the house clean and orderly. The dogs were happy and calm when we arrived home. James is coming back next week to sit again. So glad we found someone who is close and reliable.
From the very beginning of our communication, James was responsive and did not complain when I asked for personal references, which is our custom. After receiving rave reviews from his previous "customers", we spoke with him over the phone. He kept in touch with us and called to confirm the housesit a couple of weeks before the scheduled housesit.
