Hello
My husband and I are pet and travel lovers. We asked "why not combine the two?" We have been married 39 years and still having fun and enjoying each others company.
We have had many pets over the years.
For a short time we volunteered training Guide Dogs for the Blind, in our home. Hagred was a wonderful labrador, who grew to be a big handful. I learned all about working the brain vs the body, crate training. on demand releasing and more.
We had 2 rescues. Parker our pom/corkey mix recently passed away at 19. He had a heart & kidney condition, his eye sight diminished, but the nose still worked for food and he liked short walks on warm days up. Our vet was impressed at how organized we keep all his medications. This was extremely important as we had to make sure Peter, our diabetic cat ,did not get a hold of any of Parker's heart and kidney medications. They are very dangerous to pets that do not need them.
Peter is a huge beautiful rescue male tabby, 21 years old and as I mentioned a diabetic. The insulation shots are twice a day at feeding. He is doing great because we stick to the schedule
My point of telling you all this is that my husband and I are very experienced at administering medications. We understand the importance of timing for food and care with our own pets. We are also experienced with crate training, walking, playing and cuddle time.
We will treat your pets as we do ours. With love, kindness and responsibility.
Ive added a few pictures of both Peter and Parker to my profile.
You can trust the care and security of your home with us . Who better than a handyman, like Steve and a realtor like me. We truly appreciate and are grateful with the trust you hold us too.
We would like sits that we can day travel away from the house. We do this at home and our elderly pets do not have any issue. We will be visiting new countries when we sit for you so this is a must.
We will not wonder off to far returning for supper and if need be medications. Taking your dog with us would be great fun.
Most days we just love to enjoy a good book, quiet & cuddle time or a nice walk with your pets.
Just leave the list of instructions and you can rest assured it will be followed to the letter.
We like to hike, bicycle, eat at restaurants , get up early and go to bed fairly early. We are not partiers. Our days of that have ended, Not say, we don't like a good pub visit or dance now and then.
We are moving into retirement. Steve has retired. Im still working as a Realtor. But starting to travel more regularly now. My clients are long standing. Ive been selling real estate for 34 years. I have a legal background .
As a realtor I appreciate and love houses. We will care for your home just like our own.
It is a must that we have a video call before you make the final decision.
We look forward to being your pet and house sitter of choice and meeting you. Making new friends and visiting new countries around the world will be very rewarding.
