I have been house/pet sitting since I was in my 20s. I love to spend time with and get to know new fur friends whenever I have the chance. It's also important to me to live in a way that reinforces what I believe to be true: that we are all one big community, humans and animals alike! Watching over another's home and animal companions no matter where in the world feels like being a good neighbor, and the added bonus of having a homey place to be while visiting family or exploring new places is an equal gift to me.

I have been fortunate to work remotely for the last several years, which gives me the flexibility to travel and also the availability to be a regularly present companion to any animals I may be caring for while traveling. I am currently working as a both bookkeeper and a health and wellness coach, which is a combination of skills I enjoy exercising. Both the head and the heart!

I take pride in offering the kind of communication and care that will allow you to feel completely at ease knowing your animal buddies are not just safe, but loved-up while you are away, and that your home is being respected and kept in good order. One of my favorite parts about house sitting is getting to know the personalities of each animal and finding ways to connect with them in their own "love language."

I have great references I would be happy to share. Almost all of the photos in my profile are of pets I've personally watched! The exceptions are the parakeet, who was like one of my soul mates (RIP!) and the tortoise is an 80+ year-old family friend (who's full of character). I unfortunately don't have reviews on my profile because of the frequency of house-sitting via word of mouth and returning to sits I've done in the past, having not bothered to ask for reviews in the past (it's been a while since I've used this site in particular), and because I often co-housesit with a best friend-like-family via their profile on another site (we often travel together). But again, happy to offer several references.
