In 2006 we semi retired and moved to Nicaragua with our children. During our first 10 years here we owned a Beautiful Quinta with farm animals, beekeeping, small time agriculture on 4 acres. In 2016 we downsized as our children had graduated and moved on. We built our new homestead, a house with 2 guest cottages and a pool located near a crater lake. We prefer intermediate and long term house sitting opportunity in the U.S. Excellent with animals, house care, extremely versatile and totally responsible and dependable. We are multilingual, well traveled. Skilled in all facets of property maintenance and animal care. We are a perfect couple for any homeowners that want an absolutely worry free home sitter/animal care while away.

John and Mirla were wonderful housesitters. They took time to reassure and get to know our extremely nervous cat. We appreciated getting updates and photos and videos of them with Freddie. The house was in perfect condition when we returned and we were extremely pleased with the care they took of the house. We would highly recommend them.
