Dogs Best Friends

When our beloved dog died at the age of 13, Pete and I were devastated. Once the pain of the loss subsided, we often thought about getting another dog, however the memory of the sadness we experienced made us hesitate. We decided that house/pet sitting would be the perfect solution.

We have pet sat for relatives and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our niece and nephew had two very active Corgi/Border collies, whose lives were all about the tennis ball. They would chase it as long as we threw it.

When our daughter went on her honeymoon, we not only took care of her dog and cat but also her indoor and outdoor plants.

Dogs are our first love but we would also care for cats.

Fran and Peter were first time sitters and they did an excellent job! They came a day early to learn Ollie’s schedule and were super flexible with our schedule, which we really appreciated. They took great care of Ollie and kept us updated with pictures throughout our trip. We felt so comfortable with them as soon as we met them, so we weren’t surprised when we came home to a clean house and happy dog!
