64, Retired Army Colonel

I am FULLY retired and just purchased a new home in Helena. I am buying a 2 BDRM, 2 BATH home that will be finished in 60 days. The last home that I owned was in Germany using a German bank. The buying and selling process was a total nightmare but regardless, I still love Germany, the Castles and the Fly Fishing.

I want to visit our National Parks starting with the Western States, then traveling East. I have been to all 50 States and I want to visit all 50 again, especially Revolutionary War Battlefield sites that created the birth of the United States of America. I especially love Mount Vernon and Boston. I am a proud member of the Sons of the American Revolution. I have two proven Patriot Ancestors that fought in the same battle... The famous Patriot Victory on Kings Mountain, SC. They were assigned to two different Regiments. One from North Carolina and the other was mustered in Washington County, Virginia. These are all proven ancestors from my Dad's side who was born and raised in a log cabin with a mid-wife at the ready in the Appalachian Mountains of Southeastern Kentucky.

I am financially secure and I have zero drama in my life. I have been blessed with two very successful daughters and two amazing son-in-laws that seek out my advice and counsel or I will give them unwanted advice at times too… LoL. I have also been blessed with a granddaughter that is 5 and a grandson that is 3.

I love catch and release fly fishing. We live in a beautiful Country that needs our protection. As retired Soldier, I remain politically Independent because I fought for the FREEDOM for all Americans and not for a political party.

I am in EXCELLENT shape and love all sports. I have coached football, basketball, soccer and wrestling. I love tennis, golf, and I am currently on a bowling league. I will be 64 very soon, March 15th. I am VERY reliable and trustworthy. I need adventure in my life and free house sittings seems to be a great way to give back to the community. I am a rule follower and very diligent on accomplishing a daily checklist of any written, pre-agreed upon daily written tasks.

This was Darryl's first House Sit and he did very well. He arrived as planned and fell right into place with the critters. There was a lot of information to take in, but he asked questions as they came up, He stayed in contact and sent video's of the animals which made me happy. He even did a top notch job with my many plants and the lawn, although he was a bit worried about them. They thrived. The house was left in good shape . If anything to be improved upon would be to use the Robo vacuum ... MORE
