I have been house-sitting for years and met wonderful people and pets around the world. I don't have pets of my own now, but it's a real pleasure looking after other peoples' animals in the past. Please reach out to me to discuss your needs.

I am a non-smoker and will only consider sitting in completely non-smoking spaces. This includes secondhand smoke from other units. No sit is worth damaging my health.

I ask that you leave any special feeding/ household instructions in writing before you leave for quick reference during my sit. I would also like a local vet's contact information for your pet before you leave. You are encouraged to share my phone number with local friends/neighbors and provide contacts for me. Please tell me if pet updates should only be sent during certain times of day.


Last minute sit invitations are strongly encouraged.

I had a few potential house/pet sits fall through and I wasn't sure I would find someone for our dates. It was relieving when Sonia contacted me close to our travel dates. Her arrival and stay was planned and implemented seamlessly. Our dog Rosie immediately trusted Sonia and she dropped us off at the airport with her and they drove home together. She kept us updated with photos and videos of our pets, took Rosie for a daily walk and even gave Rosie a bath when she was sprayed by a skunk. ... MORE

Sonia is a fantastic cat-sitter. She gained the trust of our cats, who are young and skittish, extremely quickly, and ours, too, as she sent regular updates and pictures. She’s responsible, communicative and left the place spotless. Terrific all around!

Sonia's last minute availability was a godsend! Our plans kept changing and with a week and half notice I was weary if I would be able to find anyone. When I reached out to several people and saw that most people were booked for that time I started to worry. And then Sonia replied and it was a perfect fit! :) I appreciated her care of our space and most espcially the love she showed to Pixi and Flora.
