We're a conscientious and active couple, equipped with a broad range of house and property maintenance management, plus animal-care skills. Two decades plus, of exercising these skills on a wide variety of property styles has rewarded us with willing owner references, encouraging reviews, and multiple repeat property-care requests. Mag and Don were wonderful sitters. They communicated promptly and were regularly in touch before, during and even touched base after their time here. Their photo updates and anecdotes of our cat Lula helped us feel at ease while we were away. They were very easy to get along with and made friends with our neighbours. They looked after our cat, house and garden with care and attention. They left the house lovely and clean.

Mag and Don were incredible house sitters! This was our first time using a house sitter, and we were a little nervous and cautious. However, they quickly put our minds at ease. They took such great care of our cute little cat Simba, saving us the stress of having to book him into the cattery. They also looked after our home, plants, and garden just as we would. Honestly the best sitters we have ever had the pleasure of crossing paths with! From the very first conversation, Mag and Don felt more like friends and I feel very lucky the stars aligned and they replied to our ad.

Mag and Don were excellent house and pet sitters and we would highly recommend them! :) Mag and Don looked after our 2 dogs in our home for a week while we went camping. Communication was excellent both before and during the sit including updates and photos of the dogs. Our house was also super clean and tidy on our return.
Mag and Don are just the most exceptional house sitters you could hope for. We feel so fortunate that the stars aligned because we knew from the first time we connected that they were the kind of people who would take good care of our gregarious dogs (who they affectionately nicknamed the Velcro K-9 duo) and shy cat. Mag and Don sat for us whilst we travelled intertstate and as we have a very busy hobby farm with many animals it was important we could trust them with our animals. They were simply phenomenal. They fed our four hungry horses each day .They fed and cared for our sheep and lambs with bottle feeding but also gave intensive care to a little deformed lamb called Hoppy who needed physio and extra special care in a corral. They set up this corral with extra feed and water for this little sheep ... MORE
Mag and Don were fabulous sitters. They were so easy to communicate with, I felt immediately comfortable with them, and they obviously have a lot of experience with both house sitting and animals. My dog Maple had a lovely stay with them and was very content when I returned home. They were also very tidy and reliable. I would love to have them back again and highly recommend them.
We had the great fortune of having Mag and Don look after put place (including our dogs and chickens :), they were the perfect house guests, very warm, easy to get along with and left the house wonderfully neat and tidy, they even made the bed for us before our return!
Our dogs loved having them around, they were totally settled and comfortable which is always a huge relief if we ever have to go away. They were kind enough to give us a few extra days break too!

Mag and Don are delightful and took excellent care of our dog Murray, our fish Henry, and our unit overall. We really appreciated the consistent communication and updates. Amazing sitters who looked after our house and two cats for 3 days. Very communicative, organised a time to meet us and our cats a few days before the sit (even though we advertised at short notice). Daily photographic cat updates with cute messages. Left the house sparkling and even washed and dried their bedding and towels for us on the last day, leaving us with fresh linen on the bed. These are seasoned house sitters who are very good at what they do! We will definitely use Mag and Don again.
we will like to thank mag and don for stepping in the last minute to care for pebbles the house was clean and tidy they come highly recommenced for future sits a very loving couple it was a pleasure to have them stay maybe another sit down the track once again many thanks from dan and deb and pebbles
Don and Mag were the best house-sitters we have had yet - and we have had a lot over the years. What more can we say! Don and Mag were the perfect set of house and pet sitters while we were away. The house looked better than we left it and I highly suspect they spoilt our dog more than normal. Would gladly have back again and would highly recommend to any host wanting reliable sitters.
Don and Maggie arrived beforehand to get to know my needs. This was so reassuring. We immediately had a good rapport and they greeted my cat as their own. When they arrived they had no dilemmas in settling in, and making me feel as though they would treat my home as their own. I received photos and emails regularly about life at home - such a small gesture that meant so much. Don & Mag were the perfect sitters. The regular funny updates with brilliant photos of the two dogs was the perfect antidote for my concern about their care.
I arrived home to a perfectly manicured lawn and even the long front drive had been mowed. It was a perfect treat to drive in.
As I said, the perfect sitters and I have already asked them if they are free to house sit for my next holiday.
I would highly recommend these housesitters and would have them come back anytime.. Mag and Don were fantastic housesitters. They made it a priority to look after my cat and plants. The plants were growing so well when I returned. They also left the house very clean. I also appreciated how they kept me up to date along the way.
