My husband and I are Russian-American first-generation immigrants. After USSR collapsed, we moved in 1992 to the USA to be closer to our relatives. We raised our children in Los Angeles. After my daughter's marriage, she invited her parents to move to Georgia to help her babysit two daughters. The girls grew up, so we deserve a break as their grandparents. We are in our late 60th, but we love hiking and the countryside live. We have been married for 43 years. We have taken care of two adopted dogs of mixed breed for the last five years. Unfortunately, one passed away three years ago, and the other stayed with my daughter's family.
I'm a retired educator. Forty years ago, I studied the French language in Leningrad, Russia, and later I learned Teaching English as a Second Language at UCLA. I worked as a Special Education TA at LAUSD. My husband Pavel is a retired Russian restaurant manager in Los Angeles.
We love all kinds of animals. We are both fully vaccinated as all members of our family.
I'm a Trusted House Sitters company member from 2018.
Four years ago, we did house and a cat sitting in France (Dijon and Paris). Three years ago, my husband, my older granddaughter, and I did home and dog sitting in Switzerland, near Geneva. We both were house and dogs sitting in Florida. We completed house and pet sitting in Portugal for ten weeks at the beginning of January. After returning to California, we completed four house and pet sittings.
Meanwhile, we house sit in Austin, TX, for the summer vacation. We'll be back in Los Angeles on August 24th.
