Lee & Larry

Larry and I are a New Zealand semi-retired professional couple (non-smokers), who have enjoyed sailing around the world. We have twice sailed from the Mediterranean to New Zealand 2016-2018, and 2021-2023.

We now want to visit family and do some land travel in the USA.

Before we left NZ in 2016 , we puppy walked for the Royal NZ Guide Dog Services for over 12 years, and successfully graduated 9 puppies that went onto become working guide dogs.

Prior to embarking on our current journey, we lived for 10 years on a 12 acre lifestyle block on the coast of Whangarei. We have raised many farm animals, including Indian runner ducks, chickens, sheep and steers. For several years we had a couple of horses that we rode. We have also had tropical fish, cats and birds (including looking after my mother's cockatoo when she went on holiday).

We have extensive house sitting experience - 7 house sits in New Zealand from October 2019 - January 2020. Covid brought us back to NZ which during 2020/2021 we did several re-sits and 3-4 new house sits.

Whilst we were in Europe for Christmas 2021, we decided we wanted a white Christmas, and found a month house sit in Belgrade Serbia from 13 Dec - 13 Jan. We also did several housesits for the same couple in Cyprus where we bought our 2nd boat and were based for the winter of 2021.

All of our house sits have rated us 5/5. Copies of reviews and references are available. Many of our house sits we now consider our friends, and keep in touch with them.

We will love and care for your pets and home as if they were our own.
