Hi, my name is Amanda. I live in the Netherlands. I’m a proud grandmother and pet owner. I am a yoga teacher and astrologer. My son has moved to the States with his wife and sons, so I travel to the States twice a year to visit them. I would love to combine my visits with housesitting. When I am travelling my daughter takes care of my pets: I have three cats, two snakes and three chickens. I have experience with housesitting with dogs, horses, cows and even a camel. I have a huge love for all animals and will take care of them as my own. I also have a passion for gardening and plants. Amanda is a great house and pet sitter. She looked after our menagerie for a month when we went overseas. We live in a semi rural area located outside the major city on tank water and septic.

We left her in charge of two dogs, one which was a 5 month old puppy, a horse, a camel, a donkey, and several chicken, some being roosters. The larger animals required supplement feeding once a day. The horse required daily brushing.

Amanda’s love of animals was evident on our return. They had all formed a strong bond with her and would follow her.

The house was well taken care of too. Clean and tidy on our return.

Actually, we have used Amanda a couple of times to house and pet sit for us.
With such an odd collection of animals you need someone you feel confident will take care of your animals.
I highly recommend Amanda as a house and pet sitter.
