Stay in our lovely updated mid-century modern home in North Asheville near the Grove Park Inn and care for our adorable sweet indoor cat. Great walking neighborhood, close to everything Asheville, easy access to downtown, the woods and lots more.
It was a pleasure to sit for Winnie- a mature cat who enjoys cuddles. Margi left helpful instructions and checked in for updates to make it easy. Her home is lovely and I especially enjoyed the chance to sit on the shaded patio to work or read outside. The neighborhood is great for evening walks and downtown and the mountains of Blue Ridge Parkway are conveniently close!
Winnie was such a joy to spend time with. Her personality and character are unrivaled. We fell in love with her the moment we met her, she's so affectionate and vocal and gives the best cuddles. Margi was fantastic with communication and she and David made us feel so welcome. Their home is so lovely, we felt so well provided for and our experience in Asheville was so memorable! The homeowners were wonderful, and their cat Winnie was amazing. The most Loving and affectionate cat I have ever seen. I really enjoyed my time in their home and in Asheville.
We had a wonderful time house sitting for Margi and Dave, they were fantastic with communication, and are very welcoming hosts. Beautiful home, Winnie was easy going and sweet. We enjoyed exploring Asheville and had a fantastic stay!!
You can keep it close to home, or you can use house sitting as a way to travel on a shoestring. It's all good, and it starts here.
